In her role as Director of Trade Marketing for XO Group Inc., Laura manages the Company’s trade relations and client education initiatives. She is an expert in small business marketing and social media best practices and has been a featured speaker at dozens of trade shows and industry events including The Special Event, AGTA Gem Show, Catersource, JCK, NACE Experience, Wedding MBA, and many others.
She has overseen the development of the company’s client-education curriculum and has been published in a wide range of industry trade publications including VOWS, Centurion, DJ Times, and a variety of industry blogs. She has also developed strategic B-to-B marketing partnerships with a range of trade organizations and industry leading brands.
A six-year veteran of The Knot, Laura previously managed the company’s Investor Relations and Corporate Communications efforts. As liaison to the investment community, Laura was responsible for communicating the company’s strategy and financial performance through press releases, public filings, investor presentations, road shows, and public earnings calls.
Laura holds a B.A. in English and Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from NYU. She lives in New York City.
