I feel that my greatest achievement has been
raising my two children to become responsible adults. I now have the pleasure of assisting with
raising my grandchildren.
18. What do you do to relax?
I love to
walk because it is very therapeutic.
Walking gives me an opportunity to clear my mind and enjoy nature.
What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
I went to Hawaii with my parents, children, and
my brother. It was wonderful to spend
that time making memories with three generations of our family.
How old were you when you had your first celebrity crush, and who was it?
My first and only celebrity crush was Prince and
it started when I was 14 and continues to this day. Prince is my forever celebrity crush.
50. During your time as a wedding professional, what has been your most touching experience?
In the 25 years that I have been in this industry, my most touching experience was planning my daughter’s wedding, it was truly a labor of love. She used to come to work with me when she was young and said that she dreamed of having her wedding at the Arts District Mansion (formerly the Belo Mansion) so it made me very happy to see it actually happen.
